Unlearn

To revise your knowledge in the light of new information. It is more than just adding information to what you already know. Unlearning means that some of what a learner previously 'knew' was wrong and they need to let go of it, which is sometimes hard to do.

 

Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

The design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialised design. Planning which is flexible enough to meet the needs of all students. Students are then able to tailor their learning experience from the choices already available in the planning. UDL of a space would include a ramp for wheelchair access even if not immediately necessary, rather than suddenly sorting one out when it was needed.
