In Aotearoa, Māori-medium education experienced significant disruption when the outbreak of Covid-19 forced kura to close their doors, and whānau and kaiako to adjust to home schooling and distance learning. Seven Christchurch schools work together to make a difference for their learners

The group of schools, forming a community of practice called Kahukura, identified a need in their community to better support their students’ wellbeing and learning.
