Information Releases

You are welcome to request information from ERO under the Official Information Act or the Privacy Act. For areas of high public interest we may choose to publish information proactively (see below).  Additionally, we annually publish the Chief Review Officer’s expenditure.

People in New Zealand can make a request for official information held by ERO by emailing info@ero.govt.nz.

Additionally, a wide range of information related to ERO’s work for the Minister of Education is published in answers to Written Parliamentary Questions, which can be found on the Parliament website.

We may also release packages of information where there is a high degree of public interest.

Note that since this letter's release on 3 July 2023, a wording error, in reference to the Association of Proprietors of Integrated Schools, has been corrected.
